Salon Owner + Stylist

Hi there! My name is Sarah Paul and I have been immersed in the world of hairstyling since 2016. My journey in the beauty industry began when I graduated from Lowell Academy Hairstyling Institute, which provided me with a solid foundation in Cosmetology and ignited my passion for this creative field.

In 2017 after receiving my Cosmetology license, I started my professional career by working in salons where I learned the bulk of my education and laid the groundwork for what I do today. These experiences allowed me to refine my skills, learn from seasoned professionals, and develop my own unique style as a hairstylist.

In 2022, I made the decision to branch out from my mentor. Though I was uncertain about this new chapter, I took the leap and opened my salon in Newton Massachusetts; Sunrise Studio. My passion for hairstyling goes beyond just creating beautiful hair; I love getting to connect with my clients on a personal level, and enhance their natural hair texture and style. It is truly meaningful to me that I can empower individuals to embrace their most authentic and confident selves by working with their hair.

I take great pride in continuously expanding my knowledge and staying updated on the latest trends, techniques, and products in the industry. The beauty industry is always growing and changing, and I love to learn anything new whenever I can. When I'm not immersed in the world of hair or managing my salon, you can find me pursuing my other passions. I love spending time with my two cats Obsidian and Onyx, laughing and being in the moment with the company of loved ones, and savoring great food. I love to express my artistic side through dancing, playing drums, and drawing.

Having my own space has allowed me to rediscover the deep love I have for the craft of hair. I will always be immensely grateful for the education I have received, the experiences I've had, and the wonderful clients who have supported me along the way.
